Cilantro Lime Dressing

This cilantro lime dressing olive oil and garlic is the perfect zesty salad dressing to use for Mexican themed salads.

This cilantro lime dressing is extremely versatile and one of my all time favorite dressing recipes!

Cilantro Lime Dressing Ingredients

  • olive oil
  • limes
  • fresh cilantro
  • garlic
  • maple syrup
  • seasonings – sea salt, ground pepper, ground coriander

Optional Additions

The recipe below is a great base recipe! Here are some ideas for optional additions:

  • avocado – want this dressing to be extra creamy? Try adding in a quarter or half of an avocado.
  • jalapeño – kick it up in the spice department by adding 1/2-1 jalapeño.
  • greek yogurt – if you don’t have avocado or want a little protein boost, greek yogurt will also make this dressing deliciously creamy!

How to Store Homemade Dressing

I like to mix my dressings in mason jars which are easy for shaking and storing! Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Cilantro Lime Dressing

Description

One of my favorite zesty dressings to use for Mexican themed salads. Try it on my Deconstructed Guacamole Salad or as a marinade for grilled shrimp.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • juice of 2 limes
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • ½1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon ground coriander

Instructions

  1. Blend: Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until combined. Taste and add more salt if needed.
