Hey there, I’m Brittany Mullins, the creator of Eating Bird Food.

I’m a cookbook author, recipe developer and health coach with over 1 million followers on social media! I received my health coaching certification through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and the thing I am most passionate about in life is helping others to live healthier and happier lives through sharing easy, wholesome recipes. I love proving that healthy food can actually taste good!

Here, Eating Bird Food simply means eating a wholesome diet focused on real foods โ€“ without labels.

I focus on meals that are high-protein, but also high-fiber so that’s the type of recipes youโ€™ll find here. Many of my recipes are gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and/or vegan, and if thatโ€™s the case I make sure to label it as such so you can easily find the recipes that meet your dietary preferences.

When Iโ€™m not busy working on Eating Bird Food, you can catch me hanging out with my husband, Isaac, our children, Olivia and Tucker, in Richmond, Virginia. I love to be outside and spending time with friends is my favorite hobby.

You might not know…

  1. My passion for healthy living started in college.
  2. In January 2026 I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease.
  3. My favorite meal is a big salad with sweet potato fries on the side.
  4. Iโ€™ve worked so many fun food jobs including Coldstone Creamery, Dominos Pizza and an online organic grocery store.
  5. Iโ€™ve been with my husband, Isaac, for 22 years, married for 13!
  6. Iโ€™m a Valentineโ€™s Day baby.
