Make the viral strawberry bark with layers of sliced strawberries, peanut butter, and melted chocolate. It’s such a fun and delicious snack to keep in the freezer!

I love anything peanut butter and chocolate so when I saw the the viral strawberry bark recipe via Faith’s Fresh on TikTok, I knew I needed to try it!

This bark starts with a base layer of sliced strawberries. You top them with a layer of peanut butter and then a final layer of chocolate. It reminds me of chocolate covered strawberries but with a nutty twist and the flavor is sooo good.

Ingredients Needed

  • strawberries – the fruit we’re using in this recipe.
  • peanut butter – this is a key ingredient to get that peanut butter chocolate flavor combo. Just be sure to get a natural peanut butter that is drippy so it will be easy to spread. I’ve been using the Trader Joe’s brand lately, but Crazy Richard’s is another great option.
  • chocolate chips – I like using dark chocolate chips, but feel free to use what ever you have on hand.
  • coconut oil – this is just to thin the chocolate mixture so it’s easier to spread.
  • flaky sea salt – I love adding a little flakey sea salt to my chocolate desserts for extra flavor, but this is optional!

How to Make Strawberry Bark

Step 1: Line a baking sheet with parchment and arrange strawberry slices into a rectangle shape.

Step 2: Spread peanut butter over strawberries. Freeze for 20 minutes.

Step 3: Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave.

Step 4: Drizzle melted chocolate over the peanut butter. Sprinkle with sea salt. Freeze again until set, about 20-30 minutes.

Step 5: Cut or break the bark into pieces. Enjoy immediately or store in the freezer.

Brittany’s Tips

  • Be sure to use a natural drippy peanut butter. If your peanut butter is thick, you may need to microwave it for 10-15 seconds to thin it out so it’s easier to spread.
  • You’ll want to work quickly to spread the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer. Because the peanut butter layer will be cold, the chocolate will harden quite fast and make it hard to spread and the sea salt won’t stick once it’s hard either.

How to Store

This chocolate peanut butter strawberry bark should be stored in an air-tight container in the freezer. It should stay good for a month, but it definitely didn’t last that long over here.
