These peanut butter Greek yogurt bites are the perfect treat with a smooth and creamy yogurt center and a crisp layer of chocolate on the outside.

I have been making these peanut butter Greek yogurt bites on repeat lately so I had to share! I love the combo of peanut butter and chocolate and the nutrition facts are on point with 6 grams of protein and 8 grams of fiber per bite!

They kind of remind me of the Clio Snacks Greek yogurt bars and they’re soo easy to make. I can’t wait for you to try them.

Ingredients Needed

  • Greek yogurt – I used Fage 5% full fat Greek yogurt because that’s what I keep on hand but you can use low fat or non fat, if desired. The center just won’t be as creamy.
  • peanut butter powder – this adds protein, peanut butter flavor and helps firm up the Greek yogurt center. There are a lot of brands out there to choose from like PB Fit, PB2 or Clean Simple Eats powdered peanut butter.
  • peanut butter – this adds more peanut butter flavor and some richness to the bites.
  • maple syrup – this is the natural sweetener I used to sweeten the bites. You’re welcome to use another liquid sweetener like monk fruit or stevia to make these lower in sugar.
  • chocolate chips – I recommend using Lily’s dark chocolate chips. These particular chocolate chips will keep the bites lower in sugar and increase the fiber content.
  • coconut oil – this is just to thin the chocolate mixture so it’s easier to dip the bites. The melted chocolate coconut oil mixture becomes like a homemade magic shell!
  • flaky sea salt – this is just for topping and it’s totally optional, but I love a little flaky sea salt on my chocolate desserts.

Peanut Butter Greek Yogurt Bites

These peanut butter Greek yogurt bites are the perfect treat with a smooth and creamy yogurt center and a crisp layer of chocolate on the outside.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Set Time: 20 minutes
Servings: 6

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Add Greek yogurt, pb powder, peanut butter and maple syrup to a bowl. Stir to combine.
  • Scoop mixture onto a parchment lined plate or small baking tray. I used a medium cookie scoop, which made 6 bites.
  • Place bites in the freezer for about 10-20 minutes or until solid to the touch.
  • Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil. Dip each yogurt bite into the melted chocolate to coat. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and place in the fridge for the chocolate to set and enjoy. Store bites in the fridge for 3-4 days.

    1. Hi Lisa – I haven’t tried it, but that should work. I would recommend using 3 TBSP of natural peanut butter. Enjoy!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE!! It combines all my favorite things into one delicious treat! 🤩
I use sugar free vanilla yogurt instead of Greek yogurt and then I don’t put in the maple syrup and then I also use sugar free chocolate chips, it makes a super delicious sugar free treat 😋🩷

Lovely! I didn’t have pb powder, so in addition to extra pb in the yogurt, I added chopped peanuts to the chocolate topping. Also added a chunk of banana in the centre. I assembled in mini muffin cups as I usually make a mess when I try to dip chocolate. Will make again!

these are excellent! I don’t review very many recipes, but I had to review this one. these were delicious and I was very pleasantly surprised. I’ve tried other similar healthy peanut butter ball type recipes, but none with Greek yogurt. super yummy! I altered the recipe a bit to suit my needs so I left out the tablespoon of peanut butter. and I added a scoop of chocolate protein powder instead of the maple syrup. I also didn’t find it necessary to add the coconut oil to the chocolate chips. I just tempered it instead. thanks for a delicious recipe!
