Crispy Tofu Cubes
This is a super simple tofu recipe!
Ingredients
- 1 lb / 450 g firm tofu
- 2 T nutritional yeast
- 2 T flour
- 1 T garlic salt
- 1 t pepper
- 1-2 T oil
- 1 T soy sauce
Prepare:
Drain and pat dry the tofu, then cut it into 1/4 inch / 7 mm cubes. Combine the nutritional yeast, flour, garlic salt and pepper in a container with a lid. Add the tofu. Shake well to coat the tofu.Heat the oil in a non-stick skillet. Add the tofu and cook over medium heat turning the tofu every few minutes until golden brown and crispy. Add the soy sauce once the tofu is fully cooked.
Use in stir frys, fried rice or eat plain with ketchup.
