These blended baked oats with banana and chocolate chips make you feel like you’re having cake for breakfast. And they’re so easy! Just pop everything into your blender, bake and enjoy!

When I saw that baked oats were going viral on TikTok I knew it was my time to shine! Baked oatmeal is my jam and I l already have a ton of tasty baked oatmeal recipes here on EBF.

That said, I’ve never made a single-serving baked oatmeal or one that’s blended up, so of course I had to try it!

I tried it this week and whoa, blended oats are delicious and such a fun treat to have for breakfast. They actually remind me of my blender banana pancakes!

Spoon taking a bite out of chocolate chip and peanut butter topped blended baked oats.

Cake or Oatmeal?

These fluffy baked oats make you feel like you’re eating cake for breakfast, but in reality you’re eating a pretty nutrient-rich breakfast made from whole grain oats, an egg and banana.

I’m totally here for it!

Blender with egg, oats, cinnamon and banana.

Ingredients Needed

As per the usual with my recipes, you only need a few simple ingredients to make blended baked oats! Here’s what you need:

  • rolled or quick oats – I use Bob’s Red Mill rolled oats. Just be sure to grab gluten-free oats if needed.
  • almond milk – I use unsweetened almond milk, but any milk will work, dairy-free or not!
  • banana – make sure it’s a perfectly ripe banana!
  • egg – I tested this with and without the egg and both versions turned out, the egg-free version just wasn’t as fluffy.
  • maple syrup – this makes the oatmeal bake a bit sweeter and so tasty. Just be sure to grab pure maple syrup, not the artificial stuff.
  • peanut butter – I tested this with both peanut butter and almond butter. Both versions were delish.
  • baking powder
  • cinnamon
  • sea salt
  • chocolate chips – I use Lily’s dark chocolate chips because they are sweetened with stevia and low in sugar.

Substitutions & Notes

Banana – I haven’t tried this recipe without the banana, but I think it would work! You could sub the banana with 1/4 cup applesauce or pumpkin puree. If you make this swap, you may want to add a little extra sweetness.

Maple syrup – You can use any liquid sweetener in place of the maple syrup (honey, coconut nectar, etc) Want to keep it lower sugar? Use stevia or monkfruit maple syrup (which is what I used) or skip the maple syrup all together for no added sugar at all.

Egg – I found that this baked oatmeal held together well with and without the egg. I liked adding it in for extra protein and for the fluff factor, but if you don’t have one on hand or want to keep this vegan or egg-free, you can skip.

Peanut butter – I love the flavor and nutrition that peanut butter adds, but you don’t have to add it! Feel free to swap for your favorite nut or seed butter or skip all together.

How to Make Blender Baked Oats

After I tell you how to make this, you’re going to see why this took TikTok by storm… it’s SO easy!

  1. Blend – Blend all of the ingredients together except the chocolate chips. Stir in chocolate chips after blended.
  2. Bake – Pour batter into a greased ramekin and bake at 350ºF for 25 minutes and enjoy!

Helpful Tips

  • Use a high powered blender! To get the fully blended, cake-like oatmeal, make sure you’re using a high powered blender. I love my Vitamix!
  • You can double (or triple!) the recipe. This is a single-serve recipe but you can definitely multiply the ingredients and make multiple servings at once if you’d like!
  • How do you store it? If this lasts you longer than one serving, I’m impressed! I couldn’t put this down. To store, let cool and then store in an airtight container for up to one week.
  • What type on baking dish to use? I used an 8 oz mini Le Creuset, but any 8 oz oven-safe dish will work.
  • Can you make this in microwave? I have a feeling this would work in the microwave, but I haven’t tested it. I would assume you’d need to microwave it for 2-3 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
  • Can I use oat flour? When blending the mixture you’re essentially making oat flour so I think it should work just fine. I would use a scant 1/2 cup of oat flour instead of the 1/2 cup oats for this recipe.

Make this! You will not regret it. Quick, delicious, sweet but not too sweet. I doubled it and shared with my kids. Not a drop left!

    1. Ahh yay!! So glad this recipe was a hit with your kiddos. Thanks for making it and for coming back to leave a review. I so appreciate it!

    1. Hey Shannon, I’m not sure how it would turn out leaving the batter in the fridge overnight. I think it might be fine, but it might turn out dry/dense because the oats will soak up more liquid. If you want to make it for breakfast the next morning, I would maybe bake it fully the night before and then reheat it in the morning in the oven or microwave. Let me know if you decide to try it and how it turns out!

  2. 5 stars
This was so easy and so delicious, and a perfect post-workout weekend treat! I love that it isn’t too sweet but is still super indulgent with the chocolate. It’s a great variation from an overnight oat to mix up breakfast options, too. Looking forward to making the blueberry one tomorrow!

    1. Yay!! I’m so glad you loved this recipe, Kim. Thanks so much for trying it and for coming back to leave a review. I so appreciate it!

  3. 5 stars
Absolutely delicious! I doubled the recipe and baked in two mini loaf pans. I skipped the peanut butter in the batter and halved the maple syrup, and then drizzled the PB and a bit more maple syrup after baking. So tasty and a fun change from other baked oatmeals!

    1. Woo!! So glad you loved this recipe. Thanks for making it and for coming back to leave a review. I so appreciate it!

Blended baked oats are the sexy, delicious cousin of the baked oatmeal we all love. That dance in the blender changes things greatly & there’s just no denying cake for breakfast works Wonderfully. Especially with mini chocolate chips on top! Thank you so much! Brittany! Definitely doing this again! 😋

  5. 5 stars
Ok… I’m not going to lie, I wasn’t sure about blending all this up, but trust the process because wow! This was delish! Definitely going to be a new regular in our household. I used the almond milk / peanut butter version as per the recipe and also sprinkled a few nuts in. So so good.

    1. Woo!! That makes me so happy to hear. So glad you loved this recipe, Bryanne. Thanks for the review. I so appreciate it!

  6. 5 stars
If you need an easy and fast breakfast this is it! This is literally my favorite recipe right now! It’s extremely easy! I double it and use a bread pan instead and slice it for the whole fam! It’s kid approved as well! I used oat milk and almond butter as substitutes and it turns out great!

    1. Woo!! So glad you and your kiddos are loving this recipe, Vanessa. Also, good to know it turned out doubling the recipe!! Thanks for the review. I so appreciate it!

  7. 5 stars
Delicious, easy breakfast. I skipped the choc chips and added diced nectarine instead. Served it with yogurt and more peanut butter 😉

I made it the night before and cooked it in the morning, and it worked fine.

It says it serves one but that’s quite a lot for one and it served 3 people here!

    1. So glad you loved this recipe, Lorna!! I’ve also found that this could easily be split up into 2 or 3 servings depending on how much you want. 🙂 Thanks for the review. I so appreciate it!

    2. Lorna, did you mix it up, put in the pan wet, then in the fridge, then bake it in the morning? Curious how to do this as I’d prefer to do it this way too. Thanks!

    1. Not with this specific recipe, but it should be fine to add 2 T of protein powder to the mix. Let me know if you try it!

  8. 5 stars
Is there a way to make this recipe in bulk? Like double or triple the recipe and make it in a square baking dish all at once vs individual servings? Not sure if that would mess with the outcome

    1. Hey Natalia – Totally, a few people have done that. The cook time will differ though. Let me know how it turns out if you try it!!

  9. 4 stars
If you skip the egg or use no sweetener will that change the consistency? Like will something else need to be adjusted? What about maybe adding protein powder?

    1. I made a version without the egg and with no maple syrup and it turned out just fine! You could also add in 2 T of protein powder, but I’d maybe add a touch more milk. Let me know how it turns out if you try it!!

  10. 5 stars
I could not believe how delicious this turned out to be. I quadrupled the oats and almond milk, doubled the rest of the ingredients, and baked it in a 9″ cake pan. I The flavors and texture were so good. It’s like cake but without the sugary hangover after. It has the perfect amount of sweetness. I refrigerated the leftovers and it was really good cold, too. Thanks for the recipe!

    1. Ahh yay!! That makes me so happy to hear, Staci. SO glad you loved this recipe!! Thanks for the review. I so appreciate it!

  11. 5 stars
OMG! This baked oatmeal it’s amazing!!! It’s so delicious! Super easy to make, and I love that the recipe is for an individual portion as well.

    1. Woo!! So glad you loved this recipe, Patricia. Thanks so much for the review, I appreciate it!

    1. Hi Colin. I’m sorry about the ad and it blocking you from seeing the recipe! There should be an x to close out any floating ads, but maybe there is a glitch. Can you email me a screenshot so I can fix the issue?

  12. 5 stars
Loved this! A healthy breakfast that tastes like you’re eating a chocolate chip muffin for breakfast. My boyfriend also loved it. Will definitely be a weekend staple.

  13. 3 stars
For some reason I had to bake mine in the oven for much longer and it barely rose at all. The only changes I made to the recipe was using cashew butter instead of peanut butter and I added just a touch of honey. Everything else was the same. Not sure what went wrong ☹️

    1. Oh no!! So sorry to hear that. Did you add the baking powder? And did you use an egg or skip it? How long did you end up having to bake it for?

  14. 5 stars
I used no pb and no chocolate chips, I subbed unsweetened applesauce for banana and added blueberries. Came out delicious!

  15. 5 stars
This recipe is amazing and will be a staple in my planning. When my kids eat all their oatmeal…winning!

    1. Woo!! That makes me so happy to hear. So glad you loved this recipe, Sarah. Thanks for the review. I so appreciate it!

  16. 5 stars
Let me preface this by saying I can’t cook, and I certainly can’t bake. But this recipe was SO simple and easy to follow that even I could do it. Yummy and so easy to make! It tasted like cake for breakfast. A total win all around.

Can’t wait to try more of your recipes 🙂

    1. Woo!! That makes me so happy to hear. So glad you loved this recipe, Nicole. Thanks for the review. I so appreciate it!

  17. 5 stars
Wow! I already loved baked oatmeal for their meal prep ease but this one is amazing! I love the texture, it was super easy to put together (I doubled the recipe but next time will make more) and most importantly it tastes great! Thanks for another winner.

    1. So glad you loved this recipe, Amalia. I so appreciate you coming back to leave a review. It means the world to me. 🙂

  18. 5 stars
Love this recipe! But I’ve had to put it in the oven for around 45 mins, either not putting it highl enough (from middle) and need to increase the temp. But I don’t mind 🤤

  19. 5 stars
This was SO good! Could easily become two servings or meals. It took awhile but it was definitely worth the wait. Looked exactly like the picture. It was so good I couldn’t stop to take one.

    1. So glad you loved this recipe! Thanks for making it and for coming back to leave a review. I so appreciate it, Kate.

  20. 4 stars
I wanted to make 4 of these to have leftovers, but the yield ended up being 8! No complaints here! My husband liked them, too!

    1. I’m glad you’ve been enjoying this recipe, Jules! Did you just times everything by 4 and it turned out to be 8 servings?

  21. 5 stars
Have made this a few time. I cut the peanut butter in half and use slightly less chocolate chips. I split it in half for me and my daughter to share. She is 4 and ate her entire half today! Super yum!

    1. So glad this recipe has been a hit! Thanks for making it and for coming back to leave a review. I so appreciate it, Melissa.

    1. So glad you loved this recipe, Mari! Thanks for coming back to leave a review, I so appreciate it!

  22. 5 stars
Love this!! I live alone and when I do a batch of Baked Oatmeal I eat the same breakfast for a whole week – a single serving like this is perfect for some variation. Would love to see more versions of this!

    1. So glad you loved this recipe, Malin! Thanks for coming back to leave a review, I so appreciate it!

      1. 5 stars
I just wondered, is there any way to include some protein powder in this recipe? Maybe as like a chocolate version?

        1. Yes! You can add 1-2 TBSP of protein powder to this recipe. You might need to add a dash more liquid, but it should turn out just fine!

  23. 5 stars
I made this recently (without egg) and fell in love. I was thinking of making it again, in a muffin pan to make smaller portions and have them as a breakfast or even a snack, but was wondering – do these freeze well?

    1. So glad you loved this recipe!! You can totally freeze this recipe. That’s a great idea to make them in a muffin pan to make smaller portions. Let me know how it turns out for you!

  24. 5 stars
LOVE this recipe!! Thank you for all the alternatives for ingredients too.

I have been adding 25g of PEScience snickerdoodle and just a splash more almond milk- delicious!

How is this supposed to be “healthy one portion thing” when it’s beyond 500 calories, with 70 g of carbs and more than 20 g of fat ? 😥😳

    1. 500 calories is a perfect amount for breakfast. Carbs are good for you – they are fuel your body needs and they help you feel full. Fats are good for you – your body needs them to process protein! This is a very healthy recipe using healthy ingredients, and I’m sorry your relationship with food has been so poisoned by diet culture that you don’t know how to properly feed yourself. Please seek help.

    2. Lol.. “healthy” is a relative term. There are many people who would think this recipe is healthy because it fits what they consider healthy. You have to decide what type of healthy foods for your lifestyle and then it’s up to you to find recipes that work for you.

If you were looking for something with lower carbs/ sugar, you might not want to look into oatmeal banana breakfast recipes.

For instance, I do low carb, I would never make this for myself as carbs do not agree with my choices. However, I will make this for my kids as they do eat carbs and sugar and this is a better option for them because it’s not processed carbs or sugars.

There’s a little (actually a lot) of self responsibility that goes into deciding what healthy recipes you choose to make. It’s certainly not the recipe creators responsibility to decide for you.

  26. Hi, love the recipe. Will it be possible to blend this using an immersion blender as I only have that?

  27. 1 star
I have made this 2 times. In the dish used in this recipe. Both were failures. The toothpick came out clean but when I cut into them, the knife came out gooey. I even added 3 minutes to the baking time. A big disappointment 😞

  28. 5 stars
I made these in the microwave (3.5 min) because at the last minute I realized the 8oz dishes I had weren’t oven safe. Turned out perfect for me. Blended in a food processor. Delicious, thanks!

    1. So glad these blended baked oats were a hit, Lori! Thanks for coming back to leave a review. I so appreciate it!

  29. 5 stars
This was SO GOOD! Baked oats have been my favorite. Thank you for creating such delicious & nourishing recipes!

  30. 5 stars
Tried this recipe in the microwave with a few alterations and the flavor was on point! Used oat/flax milk, almond butter, and added vanilla extract! Would recommend! Consistency was reminiscent of a bread pudding and I can’t wait to try it in the oven next! AKA when I’m more patient for it to cook! LOL Brittany’s recipes are always FIRE!

  31. 5 stars
Love the taste and texture. I baked this in the microwave and followed every bit of the recipe and the only change I made is changing chocolate chip with blueberries. They turn out amazing. Looking forward to making this again and adding protein powder for the round. Thank you for sharing this recipe!

  32. Has anyone tried version with cocoa powder? I love chocolate cake, but was not sure if keep everything same and just add some cocoa powder, if would be good? Excited to try!

    1. Hey Orlene – I actually just tested a version with cocoa powder this weekend! I added 1 Tablespoon of cocoa powder and kept everything else the same and it turned out perfectly! Let me know if you try it. 🙂

    1. Hey Millie – Did you scroll down to the actual recipe? That is where the full recipe with measurements is listed out.

Thanks for all the great meal ideas!

    1. I used an 8 oz ramekin. I haven’t tried making it in a muffin tin, but I would imagine that would be just fine!

  45. 5 stars
These were amazing! I made them in the morning after finding your recipe the other night and they came together so quick!
I opted out for the sweetener and had placed some chocolate chips on top and they were great!

These blended baked oats are so delicious and easy to make! I’ve tried several different variations, such as with pumpkin purée instead of banana. As well, I’ve also add 1 tsp of matcha powder and 1 tbsp of hemp hearts for matcha flavour baked oats

    1. Ah yay! I love hearing this, Kate! And I love the different variations you’re making, so yummy. Thanks for the review!!

    2. 5 stars
This recipe is foolproof. It works fine without banana/fruit purée as long as you’ve got the egg (and vice versa). Then for add-ins I suggest any sort of fruit you like, I usually go with blueberries but I’ve also tried strawberry/rhubarb and peaches. Such a fun breakfast!

      1. I’m so glad you’ve been enjoying these blended baked oats, Tea! Thanks so much for making them and I really appreciate the review!

    1. Hey Willy – I wouldn’t bake these in mason jars as mason jars aren’t meant to go in the oven, but you can definitely prep these in advance so you have a few ready to go. 🙂

  51. 5 stars
My 9year old daughter and I made this and it was amazing!!!! Gonna try it with some vanilla ice cream when it hot! So yummy!!!

  52. 5 stars
Awesome recipe! Easy to customize however you like it, my favorite thing! I doubled it and it fit around 7 cupcake molds, super quick, convenient, and easy. Healthy too!

    1. Yay!! So happy to hear this recipe was a hit, JJ! Thanks for trying it out and coming back to leave a review. It means the world to me!

I absolutely LOVE this! I use dark chocolate raspberry cups from a local country store. Mine comes out more like a bread pudding than a cookie, a bit on the dense side, but I still love it!

    1. So glad you loved this recipe, Lourdes! Thanks for making it and for the review. I so appreciate it!

  54. 5 stars
I’ve never had a problem with this recipe, even if I use it as a base recipe and tweak things (almond butter, chocolate hazelnut butter; banana, apple sauce, pumpkin puree; chocolate chunks, blueberries, &c.) An excellent go-to. Even my resident oatmeal hater requests these!

    1. Woo!! So pumped you’ve been enjoying this recipe, Trinity! Thanks so much for the review and star rating. It means so much to me!

I love these blended baked oats, and make them often! The consistency is just like cake. Such a treat in the mornings! 🍰

    1. Woo!! So glad you’ve been enjoying this recipe, Lauren! Thanks for trying it out and coming back to leave a review. I really appreciate it!

  56. Hello there! I was looking to try to make these once my bananas ripen but I wanted to ask in advice if I should do anything different if I wanted to add a tablespoon or so of chia seeds into this? Or would that just completely ruin the recipe? Thanks!

    1. You might want to add a splash more milk because the chia seeds do soak up some liquid. Let me know how it turns out for you!

  57. 5 stars
I love this recipe! It’s my second time making it and I decided to make x4 quantity and have it in the fridge for through the week. Maybe for breakfast or even as a dessert as it does feel like eating cake with some extra bits on for toppings!

    1. Woo!! So pumped this recipe has been a hit, Lisa! Thanks so much for trying it out and coming back to leave a review and star rating. I so appreciate it!

  58. I’m so excited to try these with my niece, she likes sweets and always wants to make a quick snack. This will be something fun to try with her and healthy! Thanks for sharing!

  59. Hello Brittany,

Does it really have 503 calories per serving? 😮I am on a low calorie lifestyle and although your recipe looks delicious, it just has too much calories for me to try it.

    Regards,
    Josephine

Absolutely delicious. I only baked it for about 15 minutes and left out the egg because I didn’t want it to be spongey. I also added a tablespoon of cocoa and my seed blend because I’m seed cycling.

    1. So happy to hear these blended baked oats were a success, Ashara! Thanks so much for the review. I really appreciate it!

Forget my3 star rating. Let me start by sayingI HATE oatmeal. Son of the South and had grits all my life. Don’t like the taste or texture. But Doc says if I can’t get ldl down, I gotta start taking chemicals to control it. So..
Oatmeal it is, at least 3-4 times a week. Yuck! Saw this online and figured it couldn’t be as bad as that mess I’ve been eating.
First, I followed the recipe meticulously. (Except I notice after putting it in the oven, that I still had my pile of chocolate chips on the counter. Oh well. But at 25 minutes it wasn’t NEARLY done…ended up more like 45. It bloomed beautifully!
Now for the review: MUCH better than my standard oatmeal (but nowhere near as satisfying as a Krispy Kreme doughnut). Yes, I’ll do it again…often. Thank you.

i made this for my school assignment for breakfast trends. i am celiac so i swapped the oats for almond meal and it worked wonderfully. it rise so well and was so fluffy. i also tried adapting this recipe with different flavours such as dark chocolate and white choc raspberry the berries were a nice touch for some extra sweetness.

    1. Yay! This makes me so happy to hear. So pumped this recipe was a success, Caitlyn. Thanks for trying it out and coming back to leave a review. I really appreciate it!

  63. If I were to triple the recipe and pour the batter into one large ramekin should I tweak the baking temperature or time in any way?

  64. I loooove these oat recipes! Question about this one, could I quadrupole the recipe and make it in a casserole dish for my family? Instead of using individual bowls.

  65. 5 stars
I am wondering if you could make 4x’s this recipe and make it in an 8×8 in baking dish? How long would I need to bake it?
    Thanks!

      1. I’m so glad this recipe turned out for you, Rebecca! Thanks for making it and coming back to leave a review and star rating. I appreciate it so much!

I’m hoping to make these soon and I’m wondering if I could replace the peanut butter with almond butter? Thanks!

  67. Wonderful! I didn’t realize that the blended really changes it up. I quadrupled the recipe so I have leftovers and I can share with the kids.

    1. I’m so glad to hear this recipe worked out for you, Krista! Thanks for coming back to leave a review, it means the world to me!

I made this receipt this morning and it turned out so good! I made 4 servings in a 8×8 baking dish to share with the whole family. We also poured a little milk over it in our bowls and drizzled peanut butter.
Definitely a must-try! I will do this again.

    1. So glad this recipe was a hit, Rebecca! Thanks for coming back to leave a review. I appreciate it so much!

Super easy & loved by my 5 year old who’s not big on oats! I tripled the recipe but only used 2 eggs. I didn’t have 8 Oz ramekins so I used 3 4oz and 1 12oz dish. The small ones baked around 25 min and the large was about 40 min. We used butterscotch chips and it was a big hit. Thank you for sharing!

    1. Woo! So glad you and your family loved this recipe, Toni! Thanks for the review and for letting me know what changes you made!

This is very good… I baked in 8×8 and it was very flat. I used PB2 instead of regular nut butter. That may have contributed to the flatnesses. I will be making again.

    1. I think it was probably the 8×8 pan. For this recipe I usually bake it in a small ramekin because it’s meant to serve 1-2 people. For my regular baked oatmeal recipes that serve 6, I do an 8×8 pan!

    1. Yay! Glad to hear that, Chris. Thanks for making it and coming back to leave a review, I appreciate it!

I liked the recipe but had to “WW” it a bit for my own use (and taste). I did substitute the honey & only used 1 table spoon. I also added a scoop of chocolate protein powder & omitted cinnamon then divided evenly between 3 8oz ramekins. 5 points w/o PB. 5 stars warm (like molten lava cake). 4 stars cold (like muffin).

    1. Woo! Thank you so much for sharing your substitutions, Julia. It’s always helpful for other readers 🙂 I’m glad you enjoyed the recipe!

    1. Hi, Tracy! Half a cup of oats is about 190 calories, 1 Tablespoon of peanut butter is about 95 calories, and half a banana is about 50 calories. All healthy ingredients that will keep you full, longer. You can omit the egg and save about 75 calories!

Please could u tell me how much of each ingredients I would need to make a dish that’s 8×8 please, would love to make this today, thank u 😊x

    1. Hi, Susie! Another commenter shared that they quadrupled the recipe and baked it in an 8×8 pan so that’s what I would recommend!

    1. Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that, Nicole. Did you use an 8-ounce dish or change anything about the recipe? I do know that oven temperatures vary so that could be the issue.

    1. Hi, Kim. I haven’t tried it so I’m not sure but I don’t think there would be an issue. Let me know if you try it and how they turn out!

  73. This was delicious and the first time my baked oats have been perfectly cooked! Gooey in the center and baked on the outside. I added a scoop of whey protein (no flavor) and collagen to amp up the nutrients and it still came out great. I want to try different add-ins next like strawberries, nuts, matcha, etc. Makes a great base for any flavor change up. – Thank you!

    1. Yay! I’m so glad this recipe was a success for you, Cami! It’s such a great way to get creative with flavor change-ups, I agree. Thanks for sharing your review, I really appreciate it.

I made this this morning. It was yummy. I swapped the peanut butter and chocolate chips for mct oil and mixed fresh berries.
I have also made as written, so good.

So yummy. I like this as an alternative to oatmeal in the morning. I followed the recipe as written, but I didn’t want to turn my oven on, so I put it in the air fryer. Toothpick came out clean when the half way beep chimed.

    1. I am so happy that this worked out for you in the air fryer, Amanda! Thank you for your review + star rating, I so appreciate it!

Made this yesterday and went to fold the chocolate chips into the blended mixture and realized I forgot to add the Macnut butter!
( in place of peanut butter). I added it and just pulsed it in the blender a few times since I had already added the chocolate chips and it came out fantastic with little chocolate chips bits through out the entire thing instead of big chunky chips! I’ll make it that way again each time and pulse the chocolate chips into the mix! Loved it!

    1. Ah! I am so happy that this recipe worked out great for you and that you loved it, JC. Thank you for your review + star rating, I really appreciate it!

With a freeze warning in effect, I wanted a warm, healthy, and quick breakfast. I replaced the chocolate chips with blueberries and I added a dash of vanilla, because who doesn’t like vanilla? This was just what the doctor ordered! So quick, easy, and yummy! Love your recipes!!! Thank you.

I really love how easy this is to make while still being so yummy!!! Super convenient for work days or when I want a sweet treat without spending too much money, or too much time in the kitchen. I like to mix in coconut flakes & white chocolate chips.

I made these and they turned out great! I actually quadrupled the recipe and I ran out of rolled oats, so I substituted steel cut. I also don’t own ramekins so I used muffin tins. The ones baked in metal puffed up higher and were more cake like, the ones in my silicone muffin tins were a little shorter and more dense. I shorten the big Time by five minute. They turned out fantastic. 3 teen boy approved!

    1. Ah thank you so much for this, Molly. I am so glad this recipe is a hit for you and your family! Thank you for coming back and sharing your review, I appreciate it.

Made this Blended Baked Oats for my birthday “cake.” Was delicious & so moist…my choosy husband even liked it! Thank you for being so clear when presenting ingredients & even suggesting substitutions…..for instance, I used 100% pumpkin instead of 1/2 a banana….& since it’s my birthday, I used extra chocolate chips! Thanks for being a part of my Happy Birthday! 🥳

    1. Happy Birthday!!! So glad you were able to enjoy this treat, sounds delicious! Thank you for your review + star rating, I really appreciate it!

  87. We have made this a few times now. I always double the recipe and use a sandwich size Pyrex container to bake as I don’t have ramekins.
i love how easy this is to make. The second time we made this recipe, I measured out all the ingredients and let my 3 year old granddaughter put everything in the blender, put the lid on and turn it on. She loved that she “made it all by herself!”
Thank you for the great recipe.

    1. Aw this is great, Crystal! I am so glad that this recipe is a hit for you and your granddaughter is able to make this with you as well. I appreciate your review and star rating, it means so much to me!

We love this recipe! I make 4x the recipe and bake in a loaf pan (adjust baking time). I like to replace half the chocolate chips with raisins and pulse them both in the blender into smaller pieces so they don’t sink to the bottom of the pan. A slice is great for toddler snack time on the go!
