Get in your daily collagen with these two layer, fudgy pumpkin collagen bites. These collagen bites are no bake and high in protein — a double win in my book.
I shared these easy fudgy collagen bites over on Instagram… and the crowd went wild! But for real, this was a fan favorite so I knew I needed to add it the recipe to my blog. if you’re like me, your bookmarked Instagram posts get a littttle overwhelming and disorganized so it helpful to have a blog post version of the recipe as well.
I’ve been taking collagen peptides daily and to be honest, it’s one of the only supplements that I’ve been able to stay pretty consistent with… mainly because it’s tasteless and I can add it to just about anything. I typically add it to my morning cup of coffee and I’m happy to report that I’ve seen a TON of great benefits, the most noticeable being my skin looking extra healthy and my hair and nails grow super fast. I was inspired to make a new recipe using collagen peptides because I wanted something a little more versatile than my 2-ingredient protein coffee and I know some of you don’t drink coffee.
Now let me introduce you to my new favorite way to get my daily dose of collagen in. There are two layers: pumpkin and chocolate. I mean, does it get any better than that?! These are soooo simple to make and require zero baking. I know pumpkin is more of a fall flavor but I can already see myself enjoying these year round.
Fudgy Pumpkin Collagen Bites
Ingredients
Pumpkin layer:
- ¼ cup nut butter, I used crunchy peanut butter
- 1 Tablespoon canned pumpkin
- 1 Tablespoon maple syrup
- ½ Tablespoon melted coconut oil
- 3 scoops collagen peptides
- 3 Tablespoons coconut flour
- ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- pinch of cinnamon
- 1 Tablespoon mini chocolate chips
Chocolate layer:
- 2 Tablespoons melted coconut oil
- 1½ Tablespoons nut butter
- ½ Tablespoon cocoa/cacao powder
- 1-2 teaspoon maple syrup
Instructions
- Grab two bowls, mix the pumpkin mixture in one and the chocolate mixture in another. Scoop pumpkin mixture into the cavities of a silicon ice cube tray, filling each about halfway and press mixture down.
- Pour a thin layer of chocolate on top of each until all are covered, then go back and add more chocolate to each until you run out.
- Place tray in the fridge to harden for 20-30 minutes and enjoy. Store leftovers in the fridge and eat 1-2 bites a day. Makes 6-8 bites.

These look delicious! I’m 39 weeks pregnant and taking collagen to fight off stretch marks, so I’ll have to whip these up! Much more interesting than stirring the collagen into my morning oatmeal! 🙂
I’d like to use Great Lakes Collagen powder. How much would I use? Your recipe refers to scoops of peptides, not sure of the conversion.
Good question. 3 scoops of the Further Food collagen (which is what I used) is 24 grams. For measuring, I’d recommend using a food scale or you can covert the Great Lakes Collagen powder serving size to figure out how much to use. I hope this is helpful.
Update — Just checked it looks like the Great Lakes collagen is 12g for 2 rounded Tablespoons so I’d use 4 Tablespoons. ?
Wow ? I love this Post , You are great and providing us a more quality information please keet it up and update more information like this ?

I think I will try some ground nuts as a substitute for the tigernut flour.
Ohh! Let me know how they turn out.
That’s so amazing and delicious. I will try to make it tonight. Thanks for sharing!

I’ve made these once and they’re really good. I’d prefer to double the batch and then freeze half of them. Do you know if these would freeze well?
I’ve tried many of your recipes and l don’t think I’ve found one yet that I don’t liked. My favorites are the different flavoured oatmeal bakes.
These should freeze just fine, Tracey! I’m glad you’re loving the recipes. 🙂
