This apple samoas recipe is super easy to make with just 5 ingredients! Apple slices are topped with a coconut almond butter mixture and drizzled with chocolate. It's the perfect healthy fall treat!
Cut apples into ¼-inch thick slices and core. I usually get 3-4 slices.
Mix together coconut, almond butter and maple syrup until fully combined.
Place mixture on top of each apple slice and place on parchment paper.
Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil. Drizzle over each apple and place in freezer until firm, about 5-10 mins. Enjoy!
Notes
Storage: If you have leftovers (which rarely happens in my house!), you can store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2-3 days. The apples may lose a bit of their crunch, but they’ll still be delicious!
Freeze: To freeze, pop the assembled apple slices in the freezer on a baking sheet, then transfer to a freezer-safe bag once solid. Store for up to 1 month. Just let them thaw for a few minutes before enjoying!
