How to Make Cauliflower Rice

How to make cauliflower rice at home with fresh cauliflower. It's so easy and can be used in a variety of ways! Grain-free and low carb.


cauliflower olive or avocado oil (optional) sea salt (optional)

Wash, dry and remove the stem and any outer leaves from the cauliflower. Cut into quarters. Trim out the inner core of the cauliflower and break into cauliflower florets.

1. Prep Cauliflower

Place the cauliflower florets into a food processor. You might need to do this in batches.

2. Add to Processor

Pulse cauliflower until it’s broken down into rice-sized pieces. Use a box grater with large holes if you don't have a processor.

3. Pulse

Sauté with a little oil and salt until warm and golden brown in some spots.

4. Cook

Store raw rice in an airtight container in the fridge 2-3 days or in the freezer 1-2 months. Enjoy as a side or in recipes!
