Workout Songs and the Giveway Winner

In other fun news, I thought I would share one of my favorite workout songs at the moment. I’ve always been a fan of TV on the Radio. Most of time their music is something I listen to in the car or at home when cooking rather than when I’m working out, but they remixed one of the songs on their latest album and it’s perfect for working out.

And if you interested, here’s one of their more mellow songs that I love.

  1. Good,pump up music is by a hard-rock band from Louisiana called Meriwether. I also love old school jams like “Come Get It” by Aaron Carter or “Dirty Pop” by ‘N Sync. Also check out “Didn’t Last” by yours truly, Courtney Svendson. πŸ™‚

  2. Ha well, this is kind of the opposite (still workout related though) but I actually did an entry earlier this week on my favorite songs to listen to for Savasana after yoga:

    As far as actual working out songs… I always love “One Day” by Matisyahu, pretty much any 80’s rock song, and for some reason a lot of Mumford and Sons lately? I know, it sounds weird but sometimes I put my ipod on shuffle while I’m running and the strangest things end up working well!

    I haven’t been listening to music on my runs recently – I’ve been listening to audiobooks instead. If I do music, it’s usually a Pandora station based on Selena Gomez or someone like that.
