Summer Berry Salad with  Maple Walnuts

This patriotic berry salad is loaded with fresh berries, crunchy maple walnuts and blue cheese. The red white and blue theme makes it perfect for the 4th of July.


Spread walnuts on a baking sheet and toss with maple syrup, cinnamon and sea salt. Roast walnuts.

1. Roast Maple Walnuts

Whisk together white balsamic vinegar, dijon mustard, sugar (coconut sugar, brown sugar or maple syrup), olive oil, salt and pepper.

2. Make Dijon Dressing

Add greens to a large bowl and top with berries, cheese and maple walnuts. Toss with dressing.

3. Assemble Salad
