Instant Pot Beets

Here’s how to cook beets in the Instant Pot perfectly every time! These Instant Pot beets are so easy and come together in about 20 minutes, which is less than half the time of cooking beets in the oven.

Ingredients

Trim beets and discard the roots and stems. Wash well, making sure to scrub off any dirt.

1. Prep Beets

Place a rack into the bottom of your Instant Pot and add 1 cup water. Place beets on the rack, cover with the lid and set the valve to the “sealing” position.

2. Add Beets to  Instant Pot

Pressure cook on high pressure for 12-18 minutes. Release pressure manually by carefully moving the valve to the “venting” position.

3. Cook Beets

Let beets cool, peel the skin off and use in recipes as desired.

4. Peel + Enjoy Beets
