Green Beans Almondine

This recipe for green beans almondine combines tender crisp green beans with caramelized shallots, sliced almonds and fresh parsley. It’s a delicious side dish simple enough for a weeknight dinner, but fancy enough for a holiday meal!

Ingredients

Toast almonds in a dry pan until golden.

Caramelize shallot in a little oil. Meanwhile, blanch green beans.

2. Caramelize Shallot

Toss green beans in the skillet with the shallot. Add lemon juice, parsley, salt and pepper.

3. Toss

Transfer beans to a platter, top with toasted almonds and serve.
