Gluten-Free Cinnamon Rolls

Make gluten-free cinnamon rolls with this simple recipe. They’re sweet, soft and come together quickly. No stand mixer required! They're the perfect addition to a holiday or weekend brunch.

Ingredients

Stir together sugar and warm milk. Pour yeast on top and let mixture stand until it bubbles.

1. Prep Yeast

Whisk together eggs, melted butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Pour in yeast mixture and whisk to combine.

2. Mix Wet Ingredients

In a mixing bowl combine 1:1 all purpose gluten-free flour, salt and baking powder.

3. Mix Dry Ingredients

Add dry ingredients to liquid mixture and stir until combined and dough forms. Dough will be soft, but shouldn’t be too sticky.

4. Mix Dough

Cover bowl with plastic wrap or a warm towel and set in a warm spot in your kitchen. Let rise 1-2 hours, or until doubled in volume.

5. Let Dough Rise

On parchment paper, spread the dough with a rolling pin into a rectangle.

6. Roll Out Dough

Spread softened butter onto dough then sprinkle cinnamon sugar over butter.

7. Add Cinnamon Sugar

Roll dough into a log and slice cinnamon rolls.

8. Roll and Slice

Place rolls on prepared baking pan. Cover, and place in warm place again for 45-60 minutes, until they rise and puff up.

9. Rise Cinnamon Rolls

Bake cinnamon rolls for 16-20 minutes, or until golden brown on top.

10. Bake Cinnamon Rolls

Make frosting by stirring together cream cheese, greek yogurt, maple syrup and vanilla. Frost warm cinnamon rolls.
