A quick and easy blender pizza sauce that requires no cooking. Just toss everything in your blender and process. Takes 5 minutes!
Blended Pizza Sauce
Yup, pizza sauce in the blender! Crazy right?
Not really? I mean think about it. When you make pizza, the pizza sauce cooks while the pizza is baking so there’s really no need to pre-cook the sauce. I was a little skeptical at first but after tasting pizza with this no cook sauce I don’t think I’ll be pre-cooking my sauce ever again. I was amazed as how good it tasted and how easy it was to make.
I used my Vitamix, but I’m sure any blender will work. I bet an immersion blender would even do the trick.
This recipe can be used for any recipe your little heart desires. If it calls for a tomato based pizza sauce, you’re golden!
Ways to Use this Sauce
- As a pizza sauce for cauliflower crust pizza, socca pizza, tortilla pizza
- As a dip for vegan breadsticks

Out of curiousity, do you think a Vitamix is worth the investment? I have been debating buying one for a while. I see you use yours pretty frequently.
Thanks for sharing the recipe. Looks yummy!
I think cheaper blenders are just as good! I had a vitamin for years and got very frustrated with it at times. I recently got a Ninja which has a corkscrew kind of blade that circulates the contents more and I’m super happy with it. Plus I got a blender, food processor, and bullet all of a couple hundred dollars less than a vitamix. 😉
I’ve never owned or used a Vitamix but i do own a Nutra Bullet RX and I love it. I’m able to make ice cold smoothies and cold deserts change the container put whatever raw veggies in I desire and in just a couple of minutes I have piping hot pureed soups. No other dishes or pans to wash.
any suggestions for a non tomato sauce for pizza
How quick and easy!
I can’t remember the last time I cooked pizza sauce.
Try San Marzanos with just a little oregano, fennel (in the mortar & pestle) and a pinch of salt.
Throw about a third of a cup of tomatoes in a bowl for each pizza and mush them with your hand or a wooden spoon until they’re broken up. Takes two minutes and you don’t have to clean a blender afterwards.
I love how this pizza sauce cuts out the extra step of precooking (and that you can easily make pizza sauce in a blender!). We love pizza nights around here and can’t wait to try this recipe!
This looks great, Brittany! I’m always looking for good pizza sauces at the store and so many of them have sugar. I’m going to add this to my list of things to try out!
I make my own pizza sauce all the time! Just with a can of tomato, sprinkles with some salt, pepper, and oregano. It’s so easy and delicious! And way healthier than the pre-packaged stuff. I don’t know why everyone doesn’t make their own!

I usually make my own pizza sauce but it takes a LOT longer. This is so easy, and so tasty that I don’t think I’ll ever bother with the stovetop again. I was out of garlic and used powdered garlic as an extra cheat step. Heavenly. Any idea how long it will last in the fridge?
Super easy and super delicious!!
I wish I would’ve found this recipe sooner – just made pizza with my kiddo last night and used store bought.
How long will this keep in the fridge or freezer?
Hey Tina! It should keep 4-5 days in the fridge and about 3 months in the freezer. 🙂
In stead of store bought tomato sauce and past I used home canned tomatoes blended worked great.
Can you freeze this?
Hey Barb- yes, you definitely could!
