A simple, single-serving dessert made with coconut flour, this banana coconut flour mug cake is grain-free and the perfect treat to satisfy a sweet craving.

  • 2 Tablespoons coconut flour
  • 1 Tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 banana, mashed
  • 3 Tablespoons egg whites, whisked (or 1 egg)
  • 1/2 Tablespoon melted coconut oil
  • 1 Tablespoon almond milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 Tablespoon chocolate chips

  1. In large mug, mix together coconut flour, maple syrup, baking powder, sea salt, banana, egg, coconut oil, almond milk, mashed banana and vanilla. Stir in chocolate chips.
  2. Place in microwave and heat on normal setting for 2 minutes. Check to see if it’s still doughy in the center, if so heat for another minute until mug cake is cooked through. Let cool for 2-3 minutes, then enjoy.
