It’s not what you think. Although I do heart peanut butter, the title is paying tribute to another PB in my life at the moment: Pumpkin Butter!

Pumpkin products tend to flood the market this time of the year and for a pumpkin lover like myself, this is simply amazing. So yea, I recently purchased a jar of the TJ’s pumpkin butter and I’ve been going to town adding it to anything edible.
Yesterday morning I had a slice of whole wheat bread spread with the pumpkin goodness.

Simple, yet so so good!
And this morning I had chia seed oats with two blobs, one almond butter and one pumpkin butter.

I also drank one of my recent purchases. A divine grape SYNERGY.

It was synergistic and I liked it per the usual, but I still think the ginger berry flavor reigns supreme.
I made a swamp delight smoothie on my lunch break and brought it back to work with me for my mid-afternoon snack.

As a few commenters suggested to me, if you keep a smoothie cold the entire time you can make it beforehand and store it in the fridge until you are ready to drink it. I think I drank mine about 3 hours later. It was a tad bit thinner than when it was freshly made, but still delicious and nutritious.
Yesterday while a work, a friend of ours emailed me a photo of Isaac and I he had taken last weekend. I thought it was so cute I decided to print it out and put it on my desk. Now I get to stare at my sweetie all day long…

Haha. The funny part is that Isaac is holding a Sabra hummus container in his hand! Speaking of which, did you know that Sabra recently launched 5 new flavors? I just noticed on their website that they now have Cranberry & Fig, Sun Dried Tomato, Caramelized Onion, Chipotle, and Peppadew – none of which I have tried. I’m pumped because Sabra is my all time favorite store bought hummus! I think I most excited to try to the Cranberry & Fig and the Peppadew. Especially since I’ve been on a peppadew craze lately with all my sandwiches.
*Another fun tid-bit, Isaac’s family dog is named Sabra. Although I’m pretty certain it’s after a liqueur and not the hummus.
Hooray for today being Friday. We have some fun weekend plans in store, but you’ll just have to wait and see what we get into!
Oh, but one thing I will tell you all now (because I need your help) is that I’m going to a vegetarian potluck this weekend. I having the hardest time deciding what to bring. I want something that can be served at room temperature so I don’t have to bother the host to heat it up. Any good ideas?
