The sun was shining bright today here in Baltimore but we were inside. all. day. After attending the last two sessions of the afternoon

Although I don’t see myself writing a 35 page book proposal, at least not before some other proposal comes my way (ha!), the book publishing session was interesting because each panelists had a different experience and perspective to share. Caitlin did an awesome job. I’m now even more excited for her book to come out!
Both of the afternoon sessions were very informative, but by 4PM I was getting antsy and completely ready to head out outside for some fresh air.
We stopped by the JELLO post conference reception for about a minute. I had time to try a few bites of the JELLO Mousse Temptation and headed out for dinner.

It was still nice out.

We met up with some lovely ladies and headed to a dinner at Chui’s Sushi.

The whole gang: Cara – Cashews and Hummus, Allison- Green Dog Wine, Amie- The Healthy Apple, Heather- The Single Dish, Jasmine- Sweet and Fit, Quinn- Everything in Moderation, Meg- Be Fit, Be Full, Stephanie- Cookin Fanatic, and Katie- Sweet Tater.
It was so fun to catch up with some of the ladies I’ve met before and learn more about the others that I hadn’t!!

So the company was awesome and the food wasn’t halt bad either.
I started with miso soup, my favorite, cheap and delicious appetizer – the best of both worlds.

For dinner I ordered a veggie roll with carrot, apple, squash, and avocado and a crab and shrimp naruto roll, which has no rice and is wrapped in thin slices of cucumber.

I haven’t had sushi in so long and this dinner totally hit the spot. Both rolls were tasty, but the veggie rolls was amazing!! I need to find a place in Richmond that can make this roll. It was seriously so good.
And, after a full day of blogging sessions, a little Cab Sauv was definitely in order.

After sushi we hit up Max’s Taphouse for a drink. I ordered a local beer – The Brewer’s Art Resurrection, an abbey style ale made with five types of barley malt and lots of sugar, this beer is quite flavorful with a whopping 7% alcohol content! Isaac would be so proud of me trying a local beer. And who knows, maybe I’ll one up him on this one, but I’m pretty sure he’s probably already tried it.

Of course photo shoots were bound to happen:

Allison and I.

A kiss from my lady Amie, The Healthy Apple

Then a smile!

And what do Fit Bloggers do when they leave the bar?? Start thinking about what we’re going to have for breakfast and head directly to Whole Foods of course?

Bulk bin fun with a new friend, Katie aka Sweet Tater

I had to get my trail mix!!
This whole weekend has been such a blast. I’m already sad to know that it’s coming to an end and we’ll be leaving early tomorrow morning. :/
I learned a lot of things that I hope will help me become a better blogger, I met a ton of great people, and got some fun products to try out. The cost was definitely worth it for me and I’m already excited for the next blogging conference I can attend!! Who knows when or where that will be, but let’s hope it’s sooner rather than later.
Now I have to ask. Have you ever been to a blogging conference? What did you think? If not, are you planning to attend one anytime soon? Why or why not?
