Eat Out
Here’s a review of my favorite restaurants. (Most are located in Richmond, VA)
Ellwood Thompson’s: A local, organic market that has the best locally made, fresh tofu, a delicious hot bar, lots of freshly made food items (including the lovely wrap below) and a great bulk bin section.

Spring Rolls (Southern Tsunami Sushi)

Mom’s Siam: One of the three Thai restaurants in Carytown.

Ginger Thai Taste: One of the three Thai restaurants in Carytown, this place is a great place for Thai in Richmond. When they say spicy, they mean spicy so be careful if you are sensitive to spiciness. This is my favorite Thai placeĀ as of right now!

Ipanema Cafe: Small and v. cute, Vegetarian/Vegan restaurant with delicious dishes and amazing desserts. The menu changes pretty often and is written on a chalkboard when you walk in. I love this place, although often times very smokey (they recently made it non-smoking until 11PM so if you go for dinner it shouldn’t be smokey.)

Zed Cafe (Now the Fat Goat): serves fresh, local products. The menu changes frequently, and everything I’ve ever had has been v. tasty.
Valentine’s Day Crab Cake

Verry Berry: Literally this shop is a like a little slice of heaven on earth. It’s a serve yourself fro yo shop with lots of different low fat, non fat flavors to choose from (dark chocolate, espresso, cake batter, peanut butter, mango, cheesecake, cookies and cream, tart yogurt). After choosing your flavor you then get to choose your toppings. They have a ton to choose from (lots of fresh fruit, oreos, coconut, all different types of nuts, granola, sprinkles- the combinations are basically endless.

PF Chang’s China Bistro: Americanized Chinese food has never been more delicious. My two favorite things to order are the Vegetarian Lettuce Wraps and Buddha’s Feast.
