VitaMix

A VitaMix just so happened to show up on my doorstep yesterday giving my Cuisinart Smart Power a little healthy competition:

The VitaMix is quite large and most definitely in charge. Don’t get me wrong, The Cuisinart did serve me very well – the motor never burnt up, the clean up was easy, and he made some excellent culinary creations, however, as with most blenders ice is always a problem. This particular blender was better than most with ice crushing – it even has a special ice crush feature, but still not v. great at it. Ms.VitaMix has a lot to live up to, but I don’t think she will have any problem crushing ice and for an added bonus she has some extra things like being able to make hot soup, ice cream, and nut butters that Mr.Cuisinart simply doesn’t have.

• The VitaMix helps me to create nutritious foods quickly and easily. For example guacamole, hummus, smoothies.. the list goes on.
• The clean up is extremely fast and easy.
• The VitaMix crushes ice better than any blender I have ever owned.
• The machine isn’t THAT loud.

Overall, I am so happy to have a VitaMix and can’t wait to try a ton of different recipes!
