Eat Out
Here I’ve posted a list of restaurants that I frequently eat at, most of which are located in Richmond, VA. Recently I added a list of other restaurants that I have reviewed at the end.
Ellwood Thompson’s: A local, organic market. If you ever visit Richmond from out of town you should probably plan your day around stopping at Ellwood’s for lunch. They have a large refrigerated section with pre-made wraps/sandwiches which are vegan/vegetarian friendly, a large hot bar/salad bar with a plethora of options, a juice bar, a large bulk bin section, and a prepared foods counter.
Mom’s Siam: One of the three Thai restaurants in Carytown.
Ginger Thai Taste: One of the three Thai restaurants in Carytown, this place is a great place for Thai in Richmond. When they say spicy, they mean spicy so be careful if you are sensitive to spiciness. This is my favorite Thai placeĀ as of right now!
Ipanema Cafe: Small and v. cute, Vegetarian/Vegan restaurant with delicious dishes and amazing desserts. The menu changes pretty often and is written on a chalkboard when you walk in. I love this place.
Verry Berry: Literally this shop is a like a little slice of heaven on earth. It’s a serve yourself fro yo shop with lots of different low fat, non fat flavors to choose from (dark chocolate, espresso, cake batter, peanut butter, mango, cheesecake, cookies and cream, tart yogurt). After choosing your flavor you then get to choose your toppings. They have a ton to choose from (lots of fresh fruit, oreos, coconut, all different types of nuts, granola, sprinkles- the possibilities are basically endless.
PF Chang’s China Bistro: Americanized Chinese food has never been more delicious. My two favorite things to order are the Vegetarian Lettuce Wraps and Buddha’s Feast.
Other restaurants I have reviewed:
Guru Indian (Fredericksburg, VA)
Sammy T’s (Fredericksburg, VA)

that is the cutest sports bra!!
I live in the Richmond area, also! I have tried some of these restaurants, but not all of them Now I know what to say when my husband asks me where I want to eat, which is always a super hard decision since I’ve become a vegetarian.
