Blue Diamond Almond Breeze Unsweetened Almond Milk

This is by far my favorite milk alternative. I like to use it in oatmeal and cereal because it gives a hint of sweetness without any added sugar.

Love your blog – where do you buy your almond milk?

Thank you Christine! I buy it at Kroger, Ukrop’s (both of those are the chain grocery stores that are nearby), Whole Food’s, Trader Joe’s or the local organic market in my neighborhood. It’s not hard to find where I live, but if you are having difficulties I would try amazon.com.

I love almond milk. Can you cook with it?

Definitely. I use it as a sub for regular milk all the time.

Oh my gosh! I just bought this today! 40 calories a cup! Which is good, because I only use 1/4 cup, add water and artificial, 0 calorie sweetener, and that’s only 10 calories!!!

I used to love this product and drank it several times a day in my fruit & veggie smoothies, until I learned that it contains a well-known cancer causing ingredient called carrageenan. :( Carrageenan can be found in most almond, soy, rice, hemp & coconut milks.
