No, I’m not referring to my pants with the title- haha. I’m talking about the 3 huge bags of produce we came home with from the farmers market! As I mentioned in a previous post, we have quite a bit of CSA funds to use up before the season ends so today we spent a good chunk of it on farm fresh eggs, lots of veggies, and a boatload of apples, which I’m using for a special somethin’ somethin’!
After waking up bright and early for the market I came home and made breakfast with the eggs we had just purchased. I love knowing that my eggs come from happy chickens that are treated well. I already stress out enough on my own. I definitely don’t need the by-products of a stressed out animal in my body.

1 egg, 2 eggwhite omelette stuffed with onions, orange bell pepper, basil and some left over pecornio cheese. T’was delish!
Post breakfast I rushed over to the Opening Weekend event at the Lululemon Showroom here in Richmond!

The store is super cute, organized and well decorated. The Lulu girls did a great job putting the store together!

And look what I found – an Operation Beautiful note on the mirror.

I attended the 10AM Intro to Bikram class with Garland. We did each pose 1 time instead of the normal 2 and the room wasn’t heated. It definitely didn’t feel as intense as it does in a bikram studio but it was nice to stretch out. I took it easy on many of the poses because yoga tends to really aggravate my leg issue and I didn’t want to push it.
After yoga I came home and got started cooking my apples and made a smoothie for lunch.

1 frozen banana, 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder, cantaloupe, frozen blueberries, unsweetened vanilla almond milk, and ice. I topped it with a tiny bit of Udi’s cranberry granola, which has a short ingredient list and tastes yummy. Plus, I found it at Wal-Mart!

I’m off to take Ms. Olive for a walk and then check on my apples, which are bathing in the crock pot right now. I’ll have more details on what I’m cookin’ up later ( my twitter followers already got a big hint), but know that they’re making the house smell like a yankee candle shop; which is great, because I’m a sucker for sweet, food scented candles! You know the ones named things like Vanilla Cupcake, Oatmeal Cookie, Cinnamon and Sugar, Sweet Pumpkin Pie and Warm Apple Crisp. I think I just like the fact that I can make the house smell delicious without having to have a pan of cookies or a whole pie laying around to tempt me.
I know many people dislike these types of candles (Isaac for one- haha) So tell me, do you like food scented candles?
Enjoy the weekend! The weather here is beautiful so I hope to spend as much time as possible outside!

I love *anything* scented candles! That is the one product that I’m super girly about! My husband has no sense of smell but if he did I’m sure he’d hate them
I don’t like the super fake smelling candles like Yankee — it is an assault on my nose. I love all the scents from the candle man at SOTJ though. I think he has some sweet ones but my favorites are the outdoor ones, like stormy night.
mmmm..your omelet looks great!!! i wish i could eat eggs…for some reason they make me have REALLY bad stomach aches!
food scented candles are okay..but i prefer vanilla…or out doorsy type ones! ..i have a hunch you’re making..apple butter..but i really dont’ know…we’ll see…!!!
Mmm, I love apple-spice scented candles during the holidays!
I have such a candle thing… i keep getting made fun of that I keep buying them!
p.s. your chocolate covered strawberries are up for the cute food contest!!
I have one too many apples on my hands too from a recent CSA delivery. Can’t wait to see what you’re cooking up : )
I love going to the Yankee Candle store…except after thirty minutes of sniffing, I start to get quite the head ache! I can’t wait to see all the wonderful things you concoct with your fresh produce (I’m a bit jealous of those bags and bags!) Your omelet looked delicious, by the way. I love fresh eggs!
Love farmer’s market trips!! Especially when you come home with *so much* good produce. I’ve never bought and Lululemon clothes but I really really want to. Maybe a Christmas wishlist type of thing, huh? Those yoga pants on the far right are awesome!
Your omelet looks delicious!
I love food scented candles — apple cider, apple pie, pumpkin pie, buttercream frosting
You get the idea.
I’m one of those people who hate most scented candles, but mainly because I get a headache from even walking past the Yankee Candle store. I do like a few other brands, but only in very small doses.
What I do love is the new Lululemon store! Isn’t it CUTE?
I’m a fan of the food scented candles, especially anything vanilla. Mmmm.
HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS STORE OPENING!?!?!?!?!
i’ve been living under a rock, apparently. boo.
ps – hang out soon?
