Growth

Look, we have babies!

Isaac and I planted some tomatoes, peppers and herbs this year and it’s been so fun watching them grow. I literally check the vines every morning to see what kind of progress they’ve made. Note: If I have this much fun watching plants grow, I can only imagine what’s going to happen when I have kids…

Anyhow, today a few of cooler crew – aka cherry tomatoes were fully ripe and I was beyond stoked.

Obviously, I popped the two red ones into my mouth right after taking this picture. They were DELICIOUS! It’s amazing how good food tastes fresh from the plant!

Are you growing any produce of your own this year?

I‘m not sure why we decided to do so because we are members of CSA and Isaac’s parents have a huge garden, but alas you can never have too many veggies! And if you do, you can always give them away to friends. :)

Happy 4th of July weekend!

My, your babies are adorable!
I am growing tomatoes myself, as well as cucumber, spinach, lettuce, and a few herbs.

We’ve had some patio tomatoes ripen up already so far, they are soooooooooo good!!! I feel like I may be on your level with the caring for/watching the plants grow thing, so no worries ;) Have a great holiday weekend girl and let’s figure out a meetup soon so I can give you the goods!

We grow a lot of little things, herbs, tomatoes, peppers, apples, pears, cherries, etc. but we barely can harvest them because as soon as something starts to grow, the girls pluck it and eat it! All four of those tomatoes would be GONE.

Have a great weekend, Brit!

Don’t worry, mine are going to be gone soon too. Gotta get them before the squirrels do. :)

My sweet dad is an avid gardener and is growing tomatoes and strawberries this summer…they are still babies too, but I’m excited for the day we get to share them. Yours look adorable, and yes…you can never have too many veggies!

You guys should totally be proud parents! I want to garden so badly.

Fabulous! They look great–and so early in the season (at least, it’s early here!). I envy your green thumb–my garden experiments have so far been mostly failures (though I do fondly remember the taste of the few tomatoes I had right off the vine–oh, how delicious!). :)

We have some tomato plants, but they still don’t have tomatoes on them. Our blueberry bushes have berries though, and our squash has starting growing, so at least those ones are looking up!
