Oh Happy Day

I saved up cash money from this past Christmas and my birthday and got myself a new camera!! Not just any old camera, but a Canon Rebel EOS XSi. It came in the mail today and I’ve been playing with it since coming home from work.

I have some delish eats I’ll be sharing very soon, however for now here’s a glimpse of what I’ve been up to this evening…

Olive, doggie turned professional model.

I know she looks sweet, but don’t let her cuteness fool you. In the last week she’s ruined one of my favorite bras and stole a piece of bread off Isaac’s dinner plate.

Now I need to go do some manual reading…. or find a skilled photographer who would be willing to teach me how to use my new cam in exchange for some baked goods.

Local readers: Ipanema is hosting a raw dinner on Tuesday March 2, 7:30PM . It’s $28.50 per person for a 4 course raw meal. I’m still up in the air if I want to attend or not. But, here’s the menu in case you might be interested as well.
