As you all know I received a package of Kaia Foods products to try out. Over the past couple weeks I’ve been thoroughly enjoying them!!

The sweeter flavors of the raw sprouted sunflower seeds have made a lovely mid day snack.

And the more savory flavors (Teriyaki and Garlic & Sea Salt) have been the perfect topping to my salads.

I don’t typically eat fruit leathers because they don’t fill me up and they seem more like kids treats to me. However, the variety of flavors Kaia offers are slightly more mature than your normal fruit snacks (Gogi Orange, Lime Ginger, Spiced Apple, and Vanilla Pear) and they’re quite fun to eat.

To my surprise the Vanilla Pear Fruit Leather was amazing. I loved the flavor combination of the vanilla and pear! So good!! Each leather only has 60 calories so they’re not the most filling snack , but they’re practically perfect if you’re like me and crave something sweet after lunch and dinner.
Okay, so why am I rambling on about how much I like Kaia Foods? Because, in honor of Valentine’s Day, I’m spreading the love by hosting a giveaway! The kind folks at Kaia offered to send 1 lucky Eating Bird Food reader a free gift box of: one of each flavor of Sprouted Sunflower Seeds (4 total) and 4 of each flavor of Fruit Leathers (16 total). Exciting, no?
