The annual EBF family cookie bake was a total blast! My mom, sister, two nieces, and I spent all of Saturday baking Christmas cookies, chatting, and simply enjoying each other’s company. To make things a bit simpler this year, we took a tip from Sandra Lee and did a little semi-homemade baking. After about 8 hours of measuring and mixing, lots of laughs, and a few nibbles, here’s what we ended up with.
Oatmeal Cranberry White Chocolate Chunk Cookie

These don’t really look like the photo with the recipe, but this was before they were frosted. However, when does anything really turn out looking like the recipe photo?

My sis said these cookies reminded her of me- probably because they include flaxseed, dark chocolate, dried cranberries and wheat germ. Plus they have the words Trail Mix in the title. We all know I love my trail mix.
Holiday Oreo Balls

I wanted to give a special thanks to Betty and this little guy. They made baking a boat load of cookies a cinch.

Dad, if you are reading- you’ll be happy to know we made your FAVORITE and it’s the one totally homemade cookie we made- Pineapple Drops.

Riddle me this, what’s your favorite holiday cookie? We didn’t make them this year, but mine is a recipe passed down by my Nanny for Christmas Crescent Cookies. These cookies will forever remind me of her!

My grandmother used to LOVE the little dough boy. My favorite cookie no matter what time of year is Oatmeal raison. For Christmas I think just plain ole sugar cookies with red and green sprinkles are the best!! All your cookies look delicious!

What beautiful cookies! I never would have guessed they weren’t totally homemade. The peppermint one looks especially delicious, I like the dipping it in white chocolate idea.

My favorite holiday cookies is a Mexican Wedding cookie, but I also REALLY like plain sugar cookies with frosting and sprinkles – the standard. Enjoy all your goodies!
