Merry Xmas girl, I hope you had a wonderful celebration! Our Christmas Eve tradition is to take part in Wigilia, a Polish Christmas Eve supper in which we serve 7 dishes and no meat (seafood however)... we have traditional pierogi (which I made from scratch this year!), sauerkraut, seafood, mushrooms and it is one of my fave meals each year :) Plus lots of present opening, we normally do most of that XMas Ever versus XMas day... don't know why but it's just how things have turned out in recent years! No complaints here ;)

Glad you two had a great Christmas Eve. Traditions definitely change as I get older. This year, I don't think one thing was the same! But you've gotta roll with the punches!
