Gifted

by Eating Bird Food on December 22, 2009

I’ve been gifted (apparently since elementary school). Tis true, but I’m actually referring to is the fact that I was the recipient of gifts from two amazing ladies. It all started yesterday when I was greeted with a package as I walked through the door from work! And, it wasn’t just any package. It was my Bloggie Secret Santa package from Morgan at Live, Love, Eat and Play.

She sent me a very thoughtful package of goodies including a star cookie cutter and holiday sprinkles- perfect to extend my bout of holiday cookie baking.

A variety of hot cocoa mixes and homemade snowflake cookies, both of which go well with all the snow I’ve encountered the last couple days. And last but not least, some yummy Larabars!

No, Morgan didn’t take a bite of the cookie before sending it. Isaac snuck a piece before I could snap a photo! :)

If all the above wasn’t enough, Rufio, Morgan’s cute little Pup, decided to share some of his Chocolate Canine Chews with Miss Olive.

Rufio, Olive loves the treats and wanted me to tell you thank you!!

So after receiving that lovely package, I went to work this morning and was unexpectedly presented with yet another gift! Molly, one of my most favorite co-workers, brought me a candle with my initial on it!

How cute is this? She said that she saw that it was a soy based candle and had to get it for me! I guess soy makes her think of me and my vegetarian ways. :)

Molly, you are too sweet and I wanted to say thanks again for being so thoughtful- I really appreciate this gift!

After being the gifted one these past couple days, I’m most excited to be the gifter. I’m headed to my Dad’s house tomorrow and then making my family visiting rounds over the next couple days! I have lots of gifts that need to given!
