Glad you had a good time in Milwaukee - my home town! You said you were surprised there weren't more vegtarian options on the menu...I'm not. Unfortunately Milwaukee has been veeery slow to embrace it's vegetarian residents. As a vegetarian I'm lucky if there's two meat free options on the menu. And no price breaks if you ask them to hold the meat. Ugh! I don't know what the poor vegans in this town eat when they go out. I'm sure chefs in Milwaukee don't even know the difference between vegetarian and vegan. That rant aside, if you love eating in general and don't have dietary restrictions, Milwaukee has a ton of eating options. And don't let the cold keep you away! Glad you had fun here!

Hey, the New Glarus company doesn't sell out of state so they can satisfy local demand without expanding too much. It's in their FAQ here: http://www.newglarusbrewing.com/FAQ.cfm. :)

Hey - I just recently found your blog. I'm totally intrigued by the carrot cake juice - can't wait to see your recipe! I too love visiting Whole Foods stores in different cities, and even in various neighborhoods around NYC - they're all SO different and such a feast for the eyes. Yum! :)
