Today was a bit crazy because I had to wake up early and drive a little over an hour to a nearby city for an online marketing seminar. It lasted from 9am-12pm so I thought they might provide breakfast or maybe even lunch. They didn’t, so it’s a good think I had this monster wrap for breakfast. I love this this combo: Trader Joe’s Sugar Free Blackberry preserves, Morning Star veggie sausage patty, and microed 2 egg whites.  Sweet, savory and very much delicious.

This wrap, two bottles of water and four sticks of gum later (I know I chew too much, that’s why I try not to buy it) the seminar was over. It was an intense 3 hour lecture on SEO (paid and organic), email techniques and social networking tactics. I picked up some great tips!!  I couldn’t decide whether I should eat out some place new or just make lunch at home. I decided to embark on my journey home and have salad upon arrival.

Strawberries, tofurkey, tomatoes, green peppers, shrooms and sprouts went on top of my romaine lettuce with Trader Joe’s Sweet Poppyseed dressing. This dressing is perfect for a salad with strawberries.

I also had a few Trader Joe’s Baked Blue tortilla chips and fresh mild salsa. I promise I am not sponsored by TJ’s. I like them because they are good and cheap :)

I was loving this salad so much I deciced to have it for dinner…. This time with a side of left over salmon that Isaac made me last night. YUM!

And as I typing this I’m eating the last bit of Edy’s Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookie icecream. I’m not going to lie this stuff was GOOD, but I am glad I’ve finally finshed it because I seriously wanted to eat it for every snack/dessert and one scoop was never enough!! Isaac is the one that convinced me to buy it and I think he may have eaten one spoonfull and I ate all the rest. Go figure.img_0479

Lastly, don’t forget to stop my the Fitnessista‘s blog for a chance to win some Stonyfield Swag.

I chew way too much gum as well – like a pack a day habit. Hey, at least it’s not cigarettes, right?

I love the idea of putting something sweet with eggs. I always love when I am out and have pancakes and eggs and some of the syrup sneaks in there!

Ah…another gum addict. What’s your drug of choice? Mine is Extra Cinnamon. I will drive long distances to find it.

Edy’s Slow Churned rocks my world.

I am def going to try to sneak that in the house, since the hubz doesn’t like mint ice cream.

I also think the preserves idea with the MSF sausage is interesting…something for me to ponder.

Alison: Anything sugar free – I like to try all the new flavors. I used to buy it ALL the time and I eat piece after piece. It was bad and my stomach started acting up due to the artificial sweeteners. So I’ve bascially stopped buying it, until yesterday when I bought a pack of the Elixir flavor of the 5 gum. BTW…it’s gone today.
