Do you dance to the line dances at wedding receptions and other dance parties? I have to admit that I do. It’s always a bunch of ladies on the dance floor breaking out the electric slide and one or two guys brave enough to get in the mix… I love it!

What I really meant by the title is that I’m taking it back to yesterday aka Wednesday to show my eats. I decided to switch up the morning carbs for a big ol breakfast with lots of protein. I had 1 egg and 1 egg white microed, 1 veggie sausage patty baked in the ov (I don’t like these micro-waved- the texture turns out funky), 1 slice of nutty oat bread with cherry preserves, and melon balls!

This breakfast tasty lovely, but per the usual it didn’t keep me as full as a bowl of oats/oatbran would. I think my body needs more carbs to feel full. Does anyone else notice this or am I the only strange one that doesn’t stay as full off of protein?

I ran, and by ran I mean walked, home to grab lunch. I had a spinach/lettuce combo with grape tomatoes, cucs, wheatberries, and avocado. I also snagged a reheated slice of Amy’s pizza.

I went to the gym straight after work. I did 30 minutes on the arc trainer while I waited for my yoga class to start. Then did yoga from 6:30-7:45. It was awesome. I had been missing my yoga so it felt good to get back into the swing.

For dinner I had a v. similar salad to that of lunch:

A couple plain slices of Hickory Smoked Tofurkey. (I am going to post a review later.)

And the highlight of the evening: butternut squash fries. I LOVE THESE!

Sorry to be so short, but I’m off to take miss Olive outside and then head to work. Have a lovely Thursday.

    1. I line dance, hardcore.
    2. I also don’t get as full of protein! It’s so weird, although I kinda want to switch up my breakfast, getting sick of oats…but nothing else is as filling!
    3. Love Amy’s pizza!

Your butternut squash fries look so lovely and crisp. :)

I need fat AND protein plus a little carb action to keep me full. Fat is key for me – hooray for nut butter!

I find that I just need a ton of everything to stay full. I ate popcorn and an apple an hour ago and I’m famished!
    Hi Olive!

I agree with you on the carbs – they definitely keep me fuller than protein breakfasts ever do. Love the melon balls though!

That pizza looks yummy! Oh, and I love doing the dance to that song at weddings. Dancing at weddings is always hilarious!
