So, I’m boring and my oats have been lacking in their photogenic qualities They actually been looking kind of blah lately. I so sorwee, but no worries- they still taste delish. And, I bought organic bananas last night so today’s version had a banana whipped in. Sweetness x 10 (seriously I’ve found that organic bananas are way tastier). Is anyone else anxious to see why Polly has been refraining from bananas? Or is it just me wondering how someone could live without bananas?

Lunch was boringĀ because it was the same as yesterday (but I did take a new picture for you guys), minus the salad from yesterday plus some dark chocolate with nibs. (tee-hee, great switcharooni)

More of the lovely eggplant and tomato dish.. still dont’ know the name of it, but it’s cool.
I went on a run with my cousin. It was drizzling so we almost didn’t go but we decided that we wouldn’t melt. It was cold out and a little wet, but we got in around 5.5 miles. I’m doing a 10k this weekend and I’m as prepared as I was last year so I’m really just hoping to stay the same or do a bit better. We shall see. Last year it was rainy, so maybe nice weather will help with my goal.
After the run I wasn’t feeling very hungry. I did dishes, showered, played a game of wii bowling and then decided just to have something small for dinner. Tj’s Greek yogurt with honey, strawberries and Cascadian Farm’s Granola. It hit the spot.

I hope everyone’s hump day went well and don’t forget to check out Erin’s Giveaway.

Lovin’ that eggplant & tomato dish!!
I think your oats look lovely
Is the bread in your wrap lavash??? I saw some lavash at TJ’s the other day, but wasn’t sure if I would like it.
Good luck on your 10k this weekend, how exciting! Sounds like you are all set to go having done 5.5 miles today, even in the rain! You are hardcore!
Oh wow, super scrumptious eats! Egglplant!!
I don’t eat bananas every day. I can’t say there is any food I feel that I have to have everyday. But maybe I’m just weird.
Foodsthatfit: The wrap I used is LAVASH BREAD. It’s called a Reduced Carb/Flax, Oat Bran & Whole Wheat Lavash Bread made by Joseph’s Middle East Bakery. I really like the wrap- it’s soft, chewy, and hearty. I found them at BJ’s wholesale club and I hear they are also at Wal-Mart.I can’t speak for the TJ’s Lavash Bread because I haven’t tried it, but I do love this Lavash Bread.
Marianne: I edited that on this post, because honestly I don’t eat bananas everyday either, but I do like them very much.
I think that your oatmeal looks delicious! Yogurt and granola are seriously a perfect combo! Enjoy your evening
i dont know what youre smokin because those oats look exquisite!
i love dinners that are just so… perfect.
Ya know, i’ve never tried an organic banana. It doesn’t surprise me that they’re sweeter because organic carrots are the same way–taste like candy compared to the regular ones!
hooray for more eggplant goodness! and dark chocolate with nibs sounds like a tasty switch, indeed! mmmmmmm!
organic bananas rock! they have free trade organic bananas at ellwood thompson’s in carytown! mmmmmmm! they also have organic strawberries & blueberries that rock my socks off as well. i love organic yumminesses!
nice job on the 5.5! i’m running in the 10K this weekend, too! first time for me running it – i can’t wait!
I love that type of granola! Do you like it?
My mom has noted how much sweeter organic bananas are as well! You really can’t beat Greek yogurt and granola!!
Hope you’re having a great Thursday!
You know what? I think your oats look really good! They even look kinda curried!
I haven’t had organic bananas but I’m sure their very tasty! I too am curious why Polly isn’t eating bananas! I wanna know why!!!
eatlivelovedream – Seriously, I am glad that I am not the only one!! She put up the post why – make sure to check it out.
I love having breakfast for dinner sometimes!!! I find it so satisfying!!!
good for you for running in the rain!
You so sorwee
I love that!
Lunch looks great! Good luck with your big 10k this weekend – that’s so exciting!
The widget looks great! By the way, I forgot to add that you can always change the number of members. Just go back to the code and find where it currently says “7 members” and you can change it. I wish it changed automatically, but oh well!
