They put these cardboard inserts into all the combo meals. I think it's used to separate the rice and other package from each other. They have several different saying that seem to be randomly put in each box. I actually thought this was an interesting idea. This one is especially relevant to all the morons on the low carb fad diets who are destroying their health.

I've been eating tastybite foods at work since I decided to become a vegan and love their food. It's very convenient and doesn't need to be refrigerated and lasts forever on the shelf.

The only real down side is that sometimes they run out of the rice that I use with the individual meals (Bombay potatoes, etc.) and I can't seem to find a good microwaveable rice replacement (which is how I ran across this site).

It looks like it is still on there from the whole low carb phase...like they are trying to say that too many calories, not too many carbohydrates, make you fat. At least that's how I took it.

I'm only about 14 days late on this one.

yeah- thats weird. i wouldnt be so put off except for the first line. perhaps they could have been more focused on health instead of using the word fat.

it reads like a 5 year old wrote it. Its random and not organized very well.

weird.

Well, I agree about being a waste of cardboard and ink for this reason: the product is marketed as natural and vegan. Most likely someone choosing this product is a "healthy" eater and more aware than the average bear about the purpose of calories. I like the message for its meaning, but not sure its relevant in this context. I guess this was the "food trivia" advertised on the box. I wonder what the others are.
