As if there weren’t a million reasons to love Fridays, my job has given me one more reason: summer hours, which mean I go in an hour early and get out at 12:30 PM. Today I didn’t end up leaving until 1:00PM, but still super early when comparing that to the norm – 5:30 PM. Since I have to leave the house at 7:10 rather than 8:10 on Fridays I pack breakfast to eat at work beacause I don’t want to wake up any earlier to eat at home, like I normally do. The oatmeal streak stopped today and I packed this:
I mixed the berries and the cereal into the yogurt and had myself a little parfait. It held me over until around 11:45 and I had packed a snack because I knew I would need it:
My toaster is the best spot to put things to take photos because it’s right under the light. Just in case you were wondering, this hummus is not my fav, but it’s okay. So a little ritual I started, well it only started 2 weeks ago, but on Fridays I like to go to Tropical Smoothie and get a smoothie for lunch. My favorite is health nut, made with splenda and whey protein. Plus another reason I really wanted to go is because last week the guy that rang me up gave me 3 palm tree punches on my VIP card, so I wanted to see if he would do that again. Too bad he wasn’t working the cash register and the girl that rang me up only gave me one punch. OH well, there’s always next Friday.
Also, when I was there I noticed that tomorrow is National Flip Flop Day and they are giving away free 24oz Jetty Punch Smoothie if you wear flip flops.

I want to, but I also don’t want to wait in the super long line that is destined to be at ever participating location. So we shall see.
