I got to go to Trader Joe’s this past weekend. It was the first time in a while, because I now live over 2 hours from the closest one.. BUT not for long, a store is coming to Richmond this year, along with the Whole Foods. I’m psyched.
But this weekend I got some treats for myself at Trader Joe’s 
You can’t see the name of the trail mix, but its Nuts about Antioxidants, its one of my favorite trail mixes from TJ’s and as you can tell I have already devoured 1/2 the bag since this weekend. The cereal I saw on Kath’s blog and wanted to try.. its really good eaten as cereal, but also good as a mix in for yogurt and it has 10 grams of fiber per serving! The figs were totally bought because I have seen them on Arielle’s blog. I tried figs because of her posts about them, but I had only bought them in bulk from a local health food store. I guess weren’t very fresh, because they didn’t even compare to the black mission figs from TJ’s. I bought some other things, like Brittany’s Blend of veggies in the freezer section… I like to think they are named after me. Those are the highlights of my shopping trip.

yum, I have yet to try these figs, but they must be good since everyone raves about them!
Okay, YES! The figs from the bulk bins are pure crap! They are so dry, but those containers from Trader Joe’s are AMAZING. I have determined that they have to be wrapped up in some form or another to be good.
I think about figs a lot. Too much.
