Brown Rice Crispy Balls
I went over an hung out with Isaac’s mom last night… such a cool lady btw. She and I decided to make a treat for dessert from Andrea Beaman’s The Whole Truth. We modified the recipe because we thought we had brown rice syrup but couldn’t find it anywhere in the kitchen after searching high and low. The recipe is for Brown Rice Crispy Treats. I’ve had the original recipe and the rice crispy treats are good. We made brown rice Crispy balls rolled in chopped almonds. This babies are better than regular rice crispy treats with almond butter, chopped almonds, brown rice crispy cereal, non dairy chocolate chips, and brown rice syrup. Here is the original recipe (you can also find it and other recipes on her website)

Those crispies look delicious! I have a friend who really likes rice crispie treats, I’m going to give her this recipe!
