Because we have nothing in the fridge I ate a bit of randomness for lunch. Since I did have my usual of oatmeal for breakfast I thought I would make it for lunch. I added raisins, and a tiny bit of granola.
I also had about 1/2 serving of kashi crackers and carrots with hummus.

For dinner I used pita bread to make 2 mini pizzas. One with pesto and mushrooms and the other with pizza sauce broccolli, sundried tomatoes, cheese, and mushrooms. Speaking of sundried tomatoes… they were my splurge today at the grocery store. When I visited Italy for spring break one year I fell in love with sundried tomatoes on rustic bread and I saw them (fresh) at this “farmers market” store called Tom leonards. They are so good. Kinda of salty, kinda sweet. My fav.

I had a snack after dinner of kashi heart to heart cereal. It was a really small bowl.

Later I decided to make cookies. They are suppose to be the ultimate heart smart cookie with bittersweet chocolate chips, oatmeal, and dates. They turned out great. I ate 2 before bed! YUM and only 73 calories apiece.
